Fire crews are attending a 鈥渨ell-involved鈥 structure fire on Stockton Rd at Pukehina.
Three fire trucks and three water tankers had been sent to battle the blaze, a Fire and Emergency spokesperson said.
鈥淔ire and Emergency New Zealand was first alerted at 10.52am.鈥
Crews from Pukehina, Greerton, Maketu and Edgcumbe are there.
鈥淭he size of the fire has yet to be determined, but crews are working to extinguish it,鈥 the spokesperson said.
The public is asked to stay clear of the area.
