A Christchurch taxi driver says racial and physical abuse of drivers has reached boiling point.
Newstalk ob体育接口 caller Kanber reports he has been assaulted on three occasions.聽The latest was a prolonged attacked in which he was repeatedly strangled.
He said camera footage hasn't yet been handed to police, and he's worried nothing will happen.
Kanber said many drivers still remember the killing of an Afghani driver by his passengers in Christchurch in 2008, and fear it's about to happen again.
"Racial abuse, every weekend, honestly I tell you, racial abuse."聽
