Police are investigating the discovery of two bodies at a rural property near Foxton.
A man in his mid-fifties and a woman in her late forties were found dead in the house by a family member, around 9 last night.
It's understood no-one else was at the property at the time.
A police spokeswoman says they're continuing investigations into the deaths and talking to the family.
She says they're not looking for anyone else in relation to it.
The deaths will be referred to the coroner.
