The death of a teenager remains unexplained, police say.
were called to a Forest Lake address shortly before 12.30am on Sunday after reports a 19-year-old woman was in an unresponsive state.
鈥淥n arrival, medical staff confirmed she had sadly died,鈥Detective Senior Sergeant Kristine Clarke said.
鈥淧olice are speaking with those present at the address at the time, and completing further scene and area inquiries, to help determine what took place.
鈥淭he death is currently being treated as unexplained.鈥
In an updated statement released to the Herald this morning, said the death remains unexplained.
鈥淧olice are conducting inquiries to determine the circumstances,鈥 the statement said.
鈥淎 post-mortem is due to be carried out today.鈥
