UNICEF Aotearoa's Tania Sawicki Mead told Ryan Bridge that although some of the decrease in life satisfaction can be attributed to the Covid-19 pandemic, it wasn鈥檛 the only factor.
She says that the suicide rate didn鈥檛 shift significantly enough over the period pre- or post-Covid to make a dent in the statistics.
