ACT's leader says the Government's really pulling back spending as Budget Day nears.
On May 22, spending priorities and cost saving initiatives will be confirmed - including new policies and things bound for the scrap heap.
David Seymour says fiscal landmines have been planted in the past six years, in the form of extra spending.
He says they are cancelling what doesn't add up and putting in investments to secure our country's future.
